Opportunities for Youth Contests

This is a reminder to spread the information about our opportunities for youth, and encourage any junior or senior high school students you come in contact with to participate.

Please try to sponsor at least one student this year for the competition.  

Judging for the contests will be during the Third Cabinet Meeting on February 24th in Pearland.  The deadline to turn in all the necessary forms, documentation, and copies is 11:59pm on January 31, 2023.  All necessary documents need to be scanned and emailed.

The winners from the district contest in each category will receive first, second, and third prizes of $1000, $500, and $250 respectively in a college scholarship. The first prize winner from each contest will also get to represent our District in Texas Lions MD-2 State Convention in Amarillo, Texas on May 18th.
